It would have been fine if he took the time to listen. I am sure they get kickbacks so you will certainly walk away with something. Still prescribed stimulanuts after I said I didn’t need to continue the phone call and I would just contact my last provider or show him my full bottles. I am 40, I have been through hell on earth trauma in this life and I appreciate some compassion and patience….or if not, just friggin LISTEN to me for 2 minutes. I hope you get someone better than that guy. She doen’t teledoc and hasn’t been doing face to face through the pandemic…you can just go pick up your paper, no changes. I said “ It says so in your forms that they check all RX history, so why do you think I am trying to lie to you when it is all in your database?” It was frustrating because I was really only calling to ask questions and see my options as my provider is now in another state and I would have to wait months to go back to sort it out with her. I felt the call to be unprofessional and accusatory so I offered to show my full bottles of months of bipolar meds in front of him. I explained in detail on my “paperwork” and to him that I still picked it up through the end of the 3 months in case I decide I need to resume one day And that my insurance only covered Louisiana Did covid teach us nothing?!! SHIT HAPPENS, it is nice to be prepared rather than lose it waiting for a psych appt for months. I said in intake that I stopped taking all previous medications in January and he told me I was lying to him because he could see I refilled it last in April………like some kind of GOTCHA moment. The provider was absolutely horrible to me about it. And because of this I'm scared to refill the medication and be out of luck for another 30 days until it can be refilled again. They advertise that the providers will get back to you typically within 72 hours. When my prescription was on the last few days, I started a consultation request before refilling it. She told me if I needed a refill or had to change my dosage, to use donefirst's refill request and consultations menu for the time inbetween sessions. She said that would be no issue but advised me that her next available appointments were two months out. I asked my provider to start me off on half the dosage of what she typically starts her patients off with and she was extremely professional and actually listened to all my concerns.ĭuring our first telehealth session, I asked if I reacted well, if after the first month I could switch to the normal dose she recommends. It made finding a psychiatrist ridiculously easy. And since most doctors are seeing patients virtually now anyway, there is no rhyme or reason to use Done. To use their service, it would cost over $1000 the first year + cost of medication versus the $600-800 + cost of medication. This tech company is targeting, I’d even say preying, on young people who live on their phones and don’t know or understand how these things work. ![]() Most psychiatrists don’t require you to see them more than every 3 months, especially if your treatment is working fine. You talk to your doctor, they agree you have ADHD, they give you Adderall or something comparable, you go about your life. ![]() Apparently, the customer service is terrible anyway. ![]() ![]() I have ADHD, as well as more serious mental conditions, and I know for a fact ADHD doesn’t require so much “monitoring”. Done then charge $79 dollars a month claiming you get benefits like a constant review of your health status, online refills, and the ability to email their support. The average cost of seeing a psychiatrist is $200. I have been to many, many psychiatrists, psychologists, and counselors in Texas and in New York. They charge $200 for the initial appointment, claiming it’s half the cost of a psychiatrist appointment.
